I'd like to utilize the 10gb port on the HP flex-10 to connect to my 6509-E.
On the 6509-E, I have dual WS-SUP720-3B with a WS-x6516a-GBIC module.
Is it possible? If so, what will be required.
Many Thanks,
AG

Hi AG,
Yes it is possible. On the HP the connector type is SFP and on the 6500 the connector type is SC, so you need an LC to SC fiber patch cord to connect the HP to Cisco. If the distance is short you need SR type Connector and cable if the distance is long then you need LR type connector and cable.
