Given what you have explained I am trying to understand this part of the output:

P address or name of remote host [32.93.32.95]?

where did 32.93.32.95 come from? If you try it again and at that point specify 192.168.100.1 what happens?

I am also trying to understand your connectivity. You have told us that there are no active line cards so there is no connectivity there. You mention console to the PC. Am I correct in assuming that this is a connection from the console port of the switch to the serial connector on the PC? Is there any kind of Ethernet connection between the switch and the PC?

there is no ethernet connectivity.Only console to pc connection.

I believe that we must have eth connectivity to copy from tftp.

Please clear me

Hi Swamy,

To ping or tftp you need to have a ethernet connection from your tftp server to switch.

With just a console connection this will not work. But from console you can copy image from supervisor to pcmcia card.

If you can't ping then you have to verify you even have a route to the tftp network, thats where your troubleshooting needs to begin. Traceroute to that address and see where it stops .
