We have Cisco 3750 switch that will be replaced by Cisco Nexus 9000 series. The new Nexus chassis is pretty much the same. I was wondering if there would be any issues with uploading the config files from the 3750 to 9000? The physical connections won't change. I would like to do this instead of configuring each port one at a time. I did notice on our 3750 switch that ports look different like: 3750-GigabitEthernet1/0/1 Our existing Nexus-Ethernet1/33, will I have to edit the config file for this change?

Cat Switch and Nexus Switch syntax bit different ?
Are you replacing Stack or standalone switches ?
best is :
1. Copy running config to NotePad
2. Take new Nexus switch test one.
3. run the basic setup of nexus and copy major config you have from 3750 to Nexus 9000 ( check the syntax change)
check IOS to nexus converter :

The 3750 is a stack switch and is being replaced by a standalone Nexus N9K-C93108TC-EX.
