Hi all,
My apologies if this is the wrong place to
post this
I was working on a Cisco 1720 router and it was in conf-reg mode 0x2142, i went into rommon and typed in 0x2120, instead of 0x2102
Now the cisco does not boot, or allow
me to ctrl - break
Anyone out there with a similar experience and solution
Thanks,
Imran

Hello,
0x2120 sets the baud rate to 19200, you might want to change your Hyperterminal settings to that speed as well and try the ctrl+break again...

Hi
Try changing the baud rate to 19200 as the other user suggested.
Also 0x2120 will boot the router to bootstrap mode.
For more reference try Confreg Calculater at
