I need some help clarifying 802.1x configuration in "new style".
One of my production switches ( WS-C2960X-48LPD-L 15.2(2)E2 C2960X-UNIVERSALK9-M) was set to authentication display config-mode "New Style".
I understand how to get my RADIUS NPS server to work with my other switches in legacy mode for port security. But with this new style mode its completely different. ( I am not able to factory reset this switch as it needs to be up constantly).
So my questions are the following:
1) Do I need cisco ISE to make port security work with new style?
2) If I dont, is there any good examples or guides for how to get it working with Radius NPS to authenticate users that provide the windows cert and those that dont get moved to a guest VLAN? I found scarce documentation and from cisco I havent had that much success.
