CRC error on all ports 10/100BaseTX (RJ45)V

Hi All,

Getting an CRC errors on all ports slot 3 line card 10/100BaseTX (RJ45)V.

IOS: cat4500-ipbasek9-mz.122-31.SGA9.bin

Did an RMA but also issue not resolved.

FastEthernet3/5 is up, line protocol is up (connected)        96232 input errors, 7986 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored        2621 input errors, 718 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored        16112 input errors, 4533 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored

Need your help to resolve issue...!!!!

Hi,

Have you replaced any of the cables?

Do the devices connected to these ports have the right speed and duplex setting?

If same cable shift  to another line card they are working.

Reza you are right its speed and duplex issue....Now issue got resolved after changing the speed and duplex setting to auto

If the same cables/device works fine on other card( I mean the other card doest report this messages) then could you please try to reseat ( Remove the module and insert it back) the card once?
