creating network adapter in windos xp

Hi all.

I know how to add sub NIC to a computer through which we can connect our GNS3 to our physical machin in window 7. going to device manager and adding a new network adapter. 

but i cant do it in windows xp 

can any body help me??????

Hi,

I've attached a How-To for creating a loopback adapter in XP I made a couple of years ago.

The screenshoots are from a german XP but I think you'll find the corresponding menu items in an englisch version easily as well.
