Does anyone know if a CVR-QSFP-SFP10G is compatible with a Cisco 9300 switch with a c9300-NM-2Q installed, we require a 10Gb sfp+ port in the 40Gb module.

Hi,

CVR-QSFP-SFP10G for c9300-NM-2Q does not show up in the comparability list. Have a look at below link and just search for "c9300-NM-2Q", you should see all the supported optics. That said, you may want to check with your sales rep as the comparability list may not be up to date.

@Reza Sharifi  you may be right, other side its dummy converter (it converts QSFP to SFP as per the document)

I have seen that matrix, it not show as compatability. ( i can not remeber, but had some time back one of SE told that it is compatable with this)

Was a non Cisco 10Gb gbic as soon as i swapped it all worked.

Glad all sorted by now... sometimes there may be a small issue, take time to diagnose.
