%DAEMON-2-SYSTEM_MSG: send/rx failed - syslog

Hi all,

Since we upgraded our 7010 Nexus switches to NX-OS 5.2(4) we see this message %DAEMON-2-SYSTEM_MSG: send/rx failed - syslog in the logifiles. We can't find any information in the current documentation.

Can anybody help?

Yes we are polling the this box over SNMP

it is a known cosmetic issue then, no need to worry about. It will be fixed in later releases eventually.
