dedicated service management port on CSP 2100

Hi folks, I am new to CSP 2100 and am confused on the term "dedicated service management port". Is it only for management traffic of any of the virtual services running on the CSP hypervisor OR also data-plane?

In dedicated mode, it is only used for management traffic.

so when in shared, will the data traffic of the vms also flow through it?

According to the description, yes.

I would think you want to configure it as detected, so only management traffic flow through it,
