Hey Guys,
I have been asked to troubleshoot an issue where information that is being copy and pasted to a new switch is getting garbled. This only happens if a lot of information is sent to the switch at once and it might only happen on a line or two. After a little digging into the switch I found that the switch by default is set to use 2 StopBits and not the default of 1. Please see below for my output of show terminal.

It is like this on two different switches I have looked at. I can't assume it is supposed to be like this. I assume it should be set at 1 when it comes direct from the factory.

I am looking into if we have any agreements with Cisco so I can open up a TAC case. Not sure of that yet. I just wanted to see if anyone on here could point me in the right direction. Maybe i'm totally off but it just doesn't seem right that information gets garbled when copying and pasting to a switch. Esspecially when it is very inconsistent. Also note I am using the default Cisco settings when I connect to the switch and have tried with both Putty and Teraterm Pro.
