delete an image file CBS250-48P-4G

Would you be able to demonstrate how to delete an image file?

I recently downloaded the newest firmware to upload onto the CBS250-48P-4G. The support team suggested that uploading the new image would overwrite the old one. However, when we attempted to upload the image onto the switch, an error message appeared indicating that there was insufficient storage space available.

Cisco support has recommended an update, as we are experiencing port channel issues with this switch model.

Thank you very much.

Hi

You can delete file in cisco switch using CLI and on this case web interface. Navigate to the File Directory, find the Flash and located the old IOS you want to delete.

Step 1 Click Administration > File Management > File Directory.
Step 2 If required, enable Auto Mirror Configuration. This enables the automatic creation of mirror configuration files. When
disabling this feature, the mirror configuration file, if it exists, is deleted.
Step 3 Select the drive from which you want to display the files and directories. The following options are available:
• Flash—Display all files in the root directory of the management station.
• USB—Display files on the USB drive.
