Design Recommendation for CSG/Aggregation RING

Hi, I'm in the middle of a network design. And I'm struggling of what topology to use in the Aggregation and CSG Ring. The options that I have are to use a broadcast L2 network with ospf, or a point-to-point L3 network with OSPF.

Is there a document where I can read a comparison between these topologies ??
