Devices are not accepting DHCP IP and adopt 169.254.X.X / 16 (APIPA)

Hello,

We have a WI-FI network where access points are managed by a Cisco Wireless Controller.

The IP address distribution for all elements of this wireless network is done through a Windows DHCP server.

Laptop getting APIPA IP instead of expected DHCP IP but from controller side we can able to see right DHCP IP  for this Laptop.
-Other Device also have same issue which are connected to particular AP with particular SSID.

Could you please let me know your feedback.

Thanks

-But if they connected other access point in same controller we dont find any issue and client getting proper IP.

Check the SSID on the controller to see if its bonded to the dhcp server scope on the server.
