Great. I think i cannot do DHCP labs in PT.
Router1(config)#service ?
nagle Enable Nagle's congestion control algorithm
password-encryption Encrypt system passwords
timestamps Timestamp debug/log messages
Question:
Will i see any questions regarding DHCP in CCNA exam ?

Chandu

Hi,
if it's part of the blueprint then you may have some questions about it and you can do DHCP in PT without any problem.

Hi,
the service is enabled but can't be disabled.
Just configure your DHCP pools and connect a DHCP client and it will work.

Hi Chandra,
You can configure DHCP in PT with many different ways.
First, you can turn on the DHCP service on a Server, then add pools.
Second, you can enable DHCP on a multilayer switch using the following commands:
ip dhcp pool "pool name"
network "ip-network" "subnet mask"
default-router "ip-address"
lease (Infinite or days hours minutes)
Third, you can enable DHCP on a router using the same commands as mentioned in the second way.
