HP 4700 printer not receiving static IP address from 2851 router w 12.4(8c). Instead printer is reciving IP address from normal DHCP pool (ie. 55.94.225.16). I've tried using client-identifier with and withou 01 at the beginning of the MAC. Neither way works. The router is configured as follows:
ip dhcp excluded-address 55.94.225.200 55.94.225.254
ip dhcp pool 55095
network 55.94.225.0 255.255.255.0
default-router 55.94.225.1
domain-name wi.ng.ds.army.mil
dns-server 55.94.254.205 55.94.239.241
netbios-name-server 55.94.254.5 55.94.239.243
option 150 ip 55.94.254.143 55.94.254.142
netbios-node-type h-node
lease 3
ip dhcp pool NGWIPR-PLCB0-02
host 55.94.225.211 255.255.255.0
client-identifier 0100.1e0b.10b9.99
client-name NGWIPR-PLCB0-02
default-router 55.94.225.1
domain-name wi.ng.ds.army.mil
dns-server 55.94.254.205 55.94.251.241

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I have the same issue with an HP printer not accepting a DHCP reservation. I have successfully applied the reservation to workstations and it works flawlessly. In this case, the printer continues to receive dynamic IP over and over.
