Is it possible to establish an "DHCP-Relay"-function in an "WS-C2960-24PC-L" or do I need a router (L3).?

Hi
Yes I have read this information but I can´t figure out how to use it?
Do you have an sample for this?
I do have an Vip-Device on a port on such a switch
and the DHCP-server is on another LAN.

The vlan that the device is in should have a L3 vlan interface ? So, for example, if the vlan was vlan 10 in your config you should see something like -
int vlan 10
ip address
if you do then under that vlan interface configure an ip helper-address ie.
int vlan 10
ip address
ip helper-address x.x.x.x <--- where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the DHCP server.

Hi ,
U must have a vlan on switch.
Just assign:
Interface vlan x
ip helper-address
make sure your VIP device conected to right port on switch.
