hi all
is there any way i can make a vlan with dhcp only..to be clear i create a vlan and add ip helper address so that the clients will go and get dhcp ip address from a server...but if i create a static ip address in this vlan it should not work..please let me know your suggestions and ideas

Yes, you can have users of one vlan get the IP address from DHCP. If the DHCP server is in the same vlan, you don't need ip helper-address, all you need is to set the PCs in that vlan to obtain IP from DHCP. That should be it.
If the DHCP server is in diff vlan, then yes, you would need ip helper-address on that Vlan SVI.
I am not sure if there is an option where if you configure static IP, the PC should not connect. Let me search that for you.
