If i have more than one vlan on switch can i make ip dhcp snooping on only one vlan of them and all another vlan on switch can take ip from my dhcp server or not for example :

#ip dhcp snooping

#ip dhcp snooping vlan 8

#interface f0/0

#ip dhcp snooping trust

This config make client in vlan 8 take ip from trusted port but in the same switch have vlan12 the question vlan 12 can take ip or not

Hi friend,
SW2960-SW3650
Q1 is SW2960 config as L3SW?
Q2 is SW3650 also config as dhcp snooping?
Q3 the interface between two SW are L2 access or L2 trunk or L3 ?
Q4 when both VLAN config as DHCP snooping are both VLAN get the right IP address?

Q1: is Access switch layer 2

Q2:not configure as dhcp snooping

Q3:layer 2 trunk

Q4:yes get right ip from dhcp

Can you share

show ip dhcp snooping

dhcp snoop.PNG

but now i apply snoop for vlan 8 and 12 in order to vlan 12 can take ip

Hello

On the access-port that is in vlan 12 that doesn't have snooping enabled, trust that interface and see it the host then receives a dhcp allocation
