difference between 2248TP and 2248TPE

hi all,

just want to know the difference between the 2248TP and the 2248TP-E

the only difference i see are the buffers, what do they do and do i need the extra buffer space

The only difference is buffer depth. Deep buffers allows your network to handle larger spikes of network traffic without traffic loss, at the potential cost of increased latency.
