Hello everyone
I am confused about the difference between GLC-SX-MMD= and GLC-SX-MMD, or GLC-LH-SMD= and GLC-LH-SMD
I need to check compatibility with a new model. For the same device, I see a PID in Cisco Active Advisor, but then a "show inventary" in the same device shows another PID (with the = at the end or viceversa).
Thanks in advance for your help.

GLC-SX-MMD= --> can be ordered separately as a spare part
GLC-SX-MMD --> can only be ordered as part of a network element order (switch, router, etc.)
So technically they are the same, it's only about the ordering process.
"=" always means spare part
