Is there a site or can someone explain to me the different types of flashes and are they all model dependent? In other words, on some models of routers/switches, you the image is on the boot flash, some its on just flash, some on the sup..... which is usually found on the 6500s. Whats the difference between them all. Is it really just model dependent or are their reasons for all the different flash? Why do some have both bootflash and just flash, where the image lies in the flash?
