Different MAC Address Tables 3750 3650

I have a network with a stack of 3750x switches as my core running on layer 3 and several 3650 switches spread throughout the plant running on layer 2.  Searching for a device on a specfic interface is hard because all of the MAC Address Tables on my switches look like the MAC Address Table of my core stack. Is there a way to change this?

Hi

are you running CDP in the network

then test this command

traceroute mac ip adressofrouterip addressoftargetip

it will tell you where the router is (switch and port) and where the target is (switch and port) and you do not have to be on the same switch to run the cammand.

but it only works with cdp enabled.
