Disabled:TD code on show interface status on Cisco 9200 switch

Hi everyone. Does someone know what is the meaning of "TD" code after the status "disabled" on show interface status?

This is the original output from switch:

#sh int status | i 3/0/2
Gi3/0/2 connected 120 a-full a-100 10/100/1000BaseTX
Gi3/0/20 connected 120 a-half a-100 10/100/1000BaseTX
Gi3/0/21 disabled: TD 120 auto auto 10/100/1000BaseTX

Thank you so much in advance for your help

Gustavo,

I'm not sure what that could be. However, could you share the outputs of the following commands please?

  • show interface gi3/0/21
  • show interface gi3/0/21 switchport
  • show interface status err-disabled

Thank you!

Best regards,
Peter

Gustavo,

It could in fact be an incomplete string from "disabled: TDR running". Is it possible that this interface is currently running the TDR test (from test cable diagnostics)?

Best regards,
Peter

The TDR function has crashed.

Re-run the TDR test, command: test cable tdr interface Gi3/0/21

If the problem does not fix itself, reboot stack member 3.
