Hi, we are using Nexus 7K's in our DC, we are ruuning a project to install new firewall's to sperate environments and will have static routes pointing to the classless destination IP subnets via the relevent firewall. We will then need to redistrubure these static routes into the existing OSPF area running in the Nexus. I have looked at the NEXUS OSPF options and the 'subnets' keyword no longer seems to be avaialble, does this mean that teh Nexus 7K's will not support redistrubution of classless networks or is there an alternative configuration on the Nexus? We are running 5.1(3)

I think if you specfiy IP addresses as CIDR notation it'll work. e.g.
10.1.1.1.0/24 (instead of the old IOS method of 10.1.1.0 subnet 255.255.255.0)

Just been testing in DEV VDC with this and it appears that 'classless' is the default behavior now with the Nexus in OSPF redistrubition, using both the /24 notation and 24 bit mask(255.255.255.0) against a 1.1.1.0 (Class A address) sends the full mask information to upstream devices within OSPF domain...
