Hi All,
I understand that if I dual homed two Fex 2248s to two parent Cisco 5548UP switches that I can still use port-channels from my hosts connecting to the Fex 2248s. I also understand that with dual homed Fex I can attached devices with a single interface to one Fex and still protect against a parent 5548UP failure.
I'm currently designing a network where all devices will be dual attached to both Fexs, some using basic link failover and some port-channels using LACP.
From what I can understand I can meet my goals by using single homed Fexs instead of dual. Are there any pros/cons to dual homing a fex or a general best practise I should be following?
Thanks
