Please help me as early ass possible
Hi i have Small business switch and i have cisco 3850 layer switch my small business switch connect to 3850 switch on fiber port and i am getting below log.
I am getting log in both small business switch
in each switch it is showing mac address of layer 3 switch fiber port mac address
Switch one log
1.Duplicate IP address 192.168.100.18 from MAC 34:db:fd:a0:92:99 was detected on VLAN 1, port gi27, aggregated (4)
2. DUPLICATE: Duplicate IP address 192.168.100.18 from MAC 34:db:fd:a0:92:99 was detected on VLAN 1, port gi27, aggregated (3)
3. Duplicate IP address 192.168.100.18 from MAC 34:db:fd:a0:92:99 was detected on VLAN 1, port gi27
4. Duplicate IP address 192.168.100.18 from MAC 34:db:fd:a0:92:99 was detected on VLAN 1, port gi27, aggregated (6)
This mac address is layer 3 fiber port mac address - 34:db:fd:a0:92:99
Switch two log
1. Duplicate IP address 192.168.100.19 from MAC 34:db:fd:a0:92:9a was detected on VLAN 1, port gi27
2. DUPLICATE: Duplicate IP address 192.168.100.19 from MAC 34:db:fd:a0:92:9a was detected on VLAN 1, port gi27, aggregated (5)
3. Duplicate IP address 192.168.100.19 from MAC 34:db:fd:a0:92:9a was detected on VLAN 1, port gi27, aggregated (2)
this mac address is layer 3 second fiber port mac address:- 34:db:fd:a0:92:9a

Could you please let me know how these swithchs are connected togther ? Also please share me the configuration of ports from both switches.

Could you please show me a simple drawing of this set up to understand. A quick question. Do yo have these ip address configured somewhere else too?
