E1 using frame relay

Hi all, I have an e1 connection on my router , this terminates 2 x frame relay connections, both with access rates of 2 meg, will the e1 card support this, as I though e1 can only go up to 2 meg.

Yes E1 supports only 2 Mb

I think what you have now is a E1 FR to the Servcie provider who has configured PVC to 2 other sites with 2 MB each.

In this case even though the far end sites connect individually via 2 MB links, they will be limited to the E1 Access rate connection from this router
