eBGP between VASI-Pair

Is there a way to run eBGP within a VASI-Pair on ASR1000

You can't do iBGP for sure

You can run a simple test

Try to telnet through the VASI

If it works most like BGP will work

@Yigal: iBGP is supported and should work, the reason why eBGP is not configurabel is because its only possible to configure one "router bgp xxx"

statement.

Hi,

Each VASI interface will be attached to 2 different VRFs (it will not work other way).

So, if VASIL 1 is on VRF foo and VASIR 1 is in blobal, you will configure the peer as a eBGP PE-CE right?

I don't see how iBGP will work when the 2 interfaces MUST be on different VRFs (VRF Aware System Interface), but I would be glad to see that.
