editing vlan SNMP group context

Hi everybody,

Does anynone meet this problem:

When using Cisco IOS c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-50.SE3.bin we can delete line in SNMP group config with 

  no snmp-server group <group-name> v3 priv context vlan-<vlan-id>

without problems.

But, after upgrade on version c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin there is output:

% Ambiguous command:  "no snmp-server group <group-name> v3 priv context vlan-<vlan-id> "

It looks like some bug, but there is nothing in the bug toolkit.

Does anyone know some tip how to delete this line.

Greetings Ivana,

I believe this is caused by CSCsx52274 "Ambiguous while removing snmp-server group context", not sure if there is a fix in recent 12.2SE yet. You could always edit the config externally, 'copy .. start', and reload the switch as a last resort.

We'll see to configure a switch from the beggining or maybe to downgrade to some previous IOS version. Depends what is more appropriate for a customer
