I have created a lab using Packet Tracer to see if I can connect multiple EIGRP AS together and having a few issues.
The goal is to have West Ridge Hippos and Portland Maverick Riders show information for routing using their own managed EIGRP. If there is a device on either side, when the route hits the core router, it knows to send the traffic over to the corresponding network and not out the default router to the internet.
I understand how to make this work using a static route, but I would like to have the networks managed with EIGRP. After making these networks connect, I would then like to connect South Harmon Technologies network between the too, but would like the default network to stay with the HIPPO's and router ti the Mavs network if there is a server at the location.
Would I need to create a separate EIGRP AS for the P2P router Links so that routers can route to the corresponding networks?
You can download the Packet Tracer File from here, http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=82809196449346265590 . I have no passwords on any of the equipment and have added the core routes information.
