EIGRP topology question....

I am doing my own made up lab in GNS3, and I do not understand some results.  Here is the topo (ignore the error output, that was new this morning...been fighting the concept for a few days now):

If all ints are up, correctly assigned, eigrp is working (so I think) and I create a loopback (and advertise) on R4, shouldnt on R3 in the sh ip eigrp top

table I see two routes (sucessor and feasible successor) to R4, one on R3 through f2/0 and one through fa1/0?  I tried disabling split horizon, no effect.

I see one through f2/0, and when I disabled that int, then I see one through fa1/0 (via sh ip route).  With both ints up, never do I see both in the topo table, just curious maybe config error or sim error?  ty

I think I found out why, its known as a non-sucessor because if that was introduced, a routing loop would occur.

Have to verify, but the bottom of the page above I think is onto something.
