Electric issue remove config of router 2921

Hi guys,

We have 2 routers 2921 with the same ios, version ... one with FCZ181360N8 serial number and other FCZ181360N4.

Last day we had a problem with one of them when they lose electricity power. And only the router with S/N FCZ181360N8 lost the config.

Do you have any idea about it ?

It can happen in a power outage/surge seen it before flash/nvram gets wiped or corrupted  , did everything wipe or just the config , nvram may have been effected where the startup files are if its just config

whats the config register set at is it 2102

You are right ! Our config register it's set as 0x2142, we'll change it.

ah grand that should fix it , someone was probably doing a password recovery forgot to change it back after
