Enabling Jumbo frames

Hi all,

We have to enable Jumbo Frames on two Catalyst 3750X-48T-S Stacks.

Could someone tell me if the operation will be transparent (no traffic disruption) ?

Hi,

On the 3750x series switches you can enable Jumbo frame without traffic disruption, but in order for it to take effect you have to reboot the stack.  So, this should be done in a maintenance window as rebooting the stack will cause disruption.
