I´m facing some EOBC restarting every week in a CISCO7609-S with RSP720-3CXL-GE supervisor:
Mar 3 08:23:04.690 BRA: %ETSEC-SP-3-RESTART: Interface EOBC0/0 Restarted Due to IEVENT_BABR Error
Mar 5 17:43:43.712 BRA: %ETSEC-3-RESTART: Interface EOBC0/0 Restarted Due to IEVENT_BABR Error
Mar 11 18:05:29.357 BRA: %ETSEC-DFC8-3-RESTART: Interface EOBC0/0 Restarted Due to IEVENT_BABR Error
I found one link that explains EOBC as "Ethernet out-of-band controller" and that is an out-of-band bus used for maintenance.
Could someone explain to me exactly what is this interface? It is used for what kind of traffic?
Is there any command or way to find out why this interface is resetting?
The only command that I found is "show eobc" but not tell me anything.
Find attached show eobc and remote switch show eobc, maybe it can help.
