Hi,

I received this error when booting the new IOS c3745-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T14.bin from slot0.

I don't have this error when loading the inital IOS c3745-ipbase-mz.123-26.bin from flash. I tried to re-download the new IOS from cisco but the error still occurred. I also tried to boot the IOS from flash. But it failed. Not sure how to recover from this.

Hi Kian,

This issue generally comes up due to a harware issue wherein the device is not able to read the flash properly. You can try using a spare flash if that resolves the issue. However, you may need to replace the entire router. Sorry to break it to you...

Regads,

Pawan
