Good morning pros,
My office recently bought a Cisco Catalyst 8200L Router. It is currently running 9.17.14.01a XE as the software. I am trying to set up SPAN on this router, however I can not disable routing on any of the ports to make one of the ports act like a switchport to enable SPAN. The network analyzer that is currently connected to the router cannot accept ERSPAN traffic because of the encapsulation of that traffic. I have went through all of the documentation and have looked at trying to buy the 4 port switchport module to see if this will allow me access to switching commands to enable SPAN. Is there a way to configure SPAN on this router? I have even went as far as connecting the router straight to the switch and putting it on it's own VLAN with the network analyzer. This did not work. Could someone please shed some light on what I may be doing wrong and possibly give me a work around? Thank you in advance!

@daniel-r-mitchell Catalyst 8200L does not support native SPAN, your best option is to use a Catalyst switch to mirror traffic or install the NIM-ES2-4 module for switching capabilities.
Thanks!
