Hi
I got a new stack comprised of 2pc "C9200L-24P-4G-E" running 16.9.3
I´m trying to setup a ERSPAN as descried in the "Command Reference" document (linked below) however none of the need keyworks seems to be supported?!
Below are the output, showing the available keywords, on the switch when im trying to configure the ERSPAN destination part.
Am I missing anything here or are the command reference inaccurate?
C9200L(config)#monitor session 2 ?
destination SPAN destination interface or VLAN
filter SPAN filter VLAN
source SPAN source interface, VLAN
C9200L(config)#monitor session 2 destination remote ?
vlan Remote SPAN destination RSPAN VLAN

Hello,
what command are you looking for ? Once you enter 'remote' the only option is 'vlan'.
What is the full syntax you are looking for ?

Hello,
what SDM template are you using (show sdm prefer) ? Whichever you are using, try to switch to the one your are NOT using (either 'vlan' or 'advanced') and reload the switch, then check if the option is available.
It is either the template, or a mistake in the documentation. The Nexus 9x switches do support the 'type'...

Huuumm.... running the Advanced template
Will try to change the sdm on monday
Switch#show sdm prefer

The C9200 datasheet does not mention anything about ERSPAN that is supported, nor does it come in the release notes or in any of the release documentation, so it is not supported on this platform.

- Seems you need at least a 9300 for ERSPAN , the attached document comes from the https://cfnng.cisco.com/
