ESXi 5.5 packet loss

1 Accepted Solution

Accepted Solutions

This issue looks like disappeared  after modifying the interfaces linking the Host ESXi with the switch blades from Active/standby to Active/Active  .

the Active/Active was configured with load balancing conditioned on  Route based on originating  virtual port

Actually we are not able to explain why this issue has been resolved but any way now is working fine so if anyone could help in explaining this issue it would be very appreciated

many thanks in advance

no answer so far ???

Some it is hard to say what was the issue. So that require some analysis of the issue.

If any sensitive information please remove and post high level config ( mainly interested to see your spanning tree).

some outoput : before the problem, and when the problem persists

show spanning-tree

show spanning-tree root
