ether channel error

Hi friends

I have a problem with etherchannel on 2 wireless link . wireless bridges are alvarion with 36 and 54 Mbps speed. I used 2 2960 switches . when I configure switches for etherchannel , I shows me that po channel is up,up and connected but in fact there is no connection between two site and also it dosent show any thing in cdp.

I am suspecting the problem has to do something with the wireless bridges. Do they support etherchannel on their wired interfaces?

Is it realy depends to intermediate devices? I didn't find any document that shows it.
