Hi,
Is it possible to configure etherchannels between a layer 3 3560 switch and layer 2 2960-S switch stack?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you configure it in the same way.
The interface the channel connects to on the 3560 must be L2 though (which it will be unless you have changed it)
Ironically, I did this not so long ago.

Thanks for your reply. So to be clear I just need to ensure both sides are the same i.e. L2. So create trunks on interfaces both sides(im trunking multiple vlans) and then include all relevant interfaces in the port channel group and ensure pagp is setup correctly.

That is correct , pagp on the interfaces is simply "channel-group X mode desirable non-silent " .

That's great. Thanks so much for your help. Off to config it all up now :-)

Correct, however add the respective interfaces to the channel first, and then apply your configuration to the port channel, the reason being is anything done here gets propogated to the members, making management easier.
