Etherchannel on Nexus 9504 between different line cards

Hi

Is it possible to run an Etherchannel to a N9K-X9564PX and a N9K-X9564TX line card?

for example;

routerA port 1 to N9K-X9564PX port 1

routerA port 2 to N9K-X9564TX port 1

Also, would there be compatibility issues or limitations between cards?

Thanks.

Hi
You should be ok , they have different ports but can still connect together , i would use similar ports that they both have , you could use the QSFPs no problem for etherhcannel as both 40GBs exact same mod ports get teh best speed use a cheap 1mtr twinax QSFP all in one cable save on SFPs, the same requirements as with any etherchannels between switches , the speeds must match both sides

how were you planning on doing port 1 to 1 , 1 switch is copper and the other fiber yes on first 48 , prob need GLC-TE on PX side if supported

Was looking into 10G so your twinax option is good.

Thanks again
