So we are building a new factory network.
And we want to use our Cisco network for the IO traffic.
The problems come when we are trying to to connect the ABB IO useing Profinet
The IO needs two uplinks. So we have a ring and useing REP, and 2 Switches IE-2000 switches for every ABB-IO and from every ABB-IO two links.
We put Link 1 in Switch 1 interface fa1/1 and
Link 2 in Switch 2 Interface fa1/2
Switch 1 fa1/1 vlan 401 Connected ->IO 1
Switch 1 fa1/2 vlan 402 Connected ->IO 3
Switch 2 fa1/1 vlan 401 Connected ->IO 2
Switch 2 fa1/2 vlan 402 Connected ->IO 1
Switch 3 fa1/1 vlan 401 Connected -> IO 3
Switch 3 fa1/2 vlan 402 Connected ->IO 2
But then we get flapping via the Uplinks

Should not the vlan tag seperate them? so they could not see eachother?
This is all in a LAB so far, and we got a bit stunded on the network side that the IO is useing the same MAC on both interfaces.
