FCS, runts and RCV-errors

Hi,

I have a problem with someone interafaces

Cattura5.PNG

This cause the crash and reboot of the switch (I suppose).

Which could be the problem?

Thanks

These types of problems normally don't cause crash and reboot. Check network integrity and operations for device at the other end , look at it's network settings ,logs ,networking  events,....  .  make sure duplex matches. Check for faulty cable too (e.g.)

I totally agree with @marce1000 on this. This FCS, runts, and CRC errors make me think that this port is forced to full duplex and the other side is auto. Forced duplex OF ANY KIND causes the switch to not respond to duplex negotiations. That means the "auto" side has to assume half duplex.

Hello

Suggest to tweak your interface speed/duplex settings and check the physical cabling ..clear the counters and test again
