figuring out the cause of a switch reboot?

baselzind

Level 6

i found out that some of my switches restarted in the weekend "3560G-48PS and a WS-C4507R" , i was asked to figure out why they restarted , i checked the temps , cpu and power and "show logging" and everything is okey , so im wondering is it possible to find out the reason of a switch reboot or not , and if so how?

"the 4507" have a UPS connected so it rules out power outage it also have two supervisors modules???

I don't think so.  Look at the uptime of both outputs.  They're just 28 minutes apart.   So maybe there was a power outage but it took too long and the UPS ran out of juice.

Contents of the flash is absent of the sub-directory "crashinfo" so I do NOT believe there was a crash.
