Hi Guys

I am trying to report an issue to Cisco TAC but I cant get the serial number via the CLI. The GUI says "System processes are starting, please wait." so i cant log in that way. It has been like that for 24 hours.

admin@FP-FMC-01:~$ show inventory
-sh: show: command not found
admin@FP-FMC-01:~$

Thanks in advance

 - The latter show inventory command, contradicts your statement that you can not log in to the device. Can you elaborate ?

Hi

I couldn't log in via GUI.

i have rebooted the virtual machine and it seems to have allowed me to get in now.

Hello,

can you enter anything at all ? How about:

show chassis detail

I too have the issue that when logged into the CLI of the FMC @ the ~$ prompt I only have linux style command set.  I'm guessing I need to get into a shell or something.

Cisco Fire Linux OS v6.2.3 (build 13)
Cisco Firepower Management Center 2500 v6.2.3.7 (build 51)

admin@cdc2-f2500-2:~$ show
-sh: show: command not found
admin@cdc2-f2500-2:~$ ls
CmdTool.log MegaSAS.log
admin@cdc2-f2500-2:~$ pwd
/Volume/home/admin
admin@cdc2-f2500-2:~$

I have tried "connect module 1" and still not in the correct part of the CLI.
