I suspect my user's Mac Address is somewhere else on switch, no idea where though.
#shutdown
#no switchport port-security mac-address xxxx
#swtichport port-security mac-address xxxx
returns:
Found duplicate mac-address xxxx
Is there anyway to figure out where else this Mac is?
i've already searched through #show mac address-table | i xxxx and found the mac on the port it's supposed to be on. But yeah i cannot re-enable port security (i disabled port-security for the sake of the user for now) until i figure out how to clear this duplicate.

- One starting point could for instance be : https://macvendors.com/ , determining vendor can lead to additional hints as to who is causing this.

- Lookup the mac address on the core switch(es) , check if anywhere else being used besides current local device.

there are many place the mac is add
check show running do you see static mac (PC mac) add to other port
check show port-security mac-address table, check the mac is add to other port
