Get IOS upgrade alerts for vulnerabilities

Hi Guys,

I want to check with you guys if we can get an email from Cisco stating what model of the switch/router needs to be upgraded the IOS for latest vulnerability issues? I know we can search these up but it can be quite hard to search online. If we can get a notification (via email) from Cisco about some vulnerability that some model needs to be addressed immediately that would be great.A very good example would be the heartbleed issue recently.

If you guys know where can i subscribe to these emails from Cisco about vulnerability, please do tell me. At least it will keep me and my equipments free from vulnerability

One way to get this information is the Cisco Active Advisor:

 Login to your CCO account --> click Support tab ---> under  Tools  locate Cisco Notification service  and select the devices you want notifications for .

There are several methods of doing this.  

1.  Have you heard of Cisco Notification Service? 

2.  Have you tried RSS?  

• If you want to receive RSS feeds from Cisco Security Advisories, Responses, and Notices then the RSS address HERE. 
• If you want to receive RSS feeds from Cisco Security  Notices then the RSS address HERE.
