Getting config from 1603

As you realise when you read further down this message, I'm a cisco newbie!

We have a Cisco 1603 ISDN router. This connects our network to another company thay provides services to us. It has worked fine for many years.

However, I need to do a couple of things...

1) get the config from the router, so I know what the external IP of the interface is.

2) in the future, I need to change the internal IP of the router. Is this easy?

Any help greatly appreciated!!

Al

hi Al,

itz very simple, juz connect the console cable to the router via ur pc(open hyper terminal in windows or minicom in linux) type the "enable password"(if present) then type "show run" it will show the configuration of ur cisco 1600 series router.

do rate the post if cleared, if not lemme know.
