GLC-SX-MM in Catalyst 930048P ??

I would like to use some older GLC-SX-MM SFPs in a new Catalyst 930048P-A that I am adding to a network.  Jut checking that it wont cause any issues and that the Switch wont do anything "clever" to prevent the older SFP from being usable. I dont need any of the DOM functionality and they work fine on other older switch models.

So question is can I use the GLC-SX-MM or MUST I use the GLC-SX-MMD variant.?
